Since 2011, Studio428 was always a thought, now we've grown to be one of the most sought out salons in New York State. Studio428 was dreamt and conceived by Matthew Halstead in the early 2000's. At the age of 17, Matthew aspired to become a hair stylist. He dropped out of high school, and continued to venture out into the hair world!
At the age of 24, he realized his dream was crashing down in front of him. Not in a sense of failure, but in a sense of beautiful controversy. Finally, with the explosion of time and planning, mixed with a burning desire to transform and beautify any canvas placed before him, you are presented with STUDIO428!
