Food Network Champion Chef Maeve Rochford's Sugar and Scribe bakery is dedicated to bringing the baking traditions of Ireland to San Diego, CA.

Descending from a long line of Irish bakers dating back to the 1930’s, Maeve continues the tradition of the Irish Rochford women, providing Southern California baked goods and savories from recipes that have survived generations of wars and emigration.

Serving breakfast and lunch, Sugar and Scribe specializes in sweet and savory Irish cuisine with a little attitude. Gluten free cakes and pies can be special ordered. Please inquire about custom wedding cakes, dessert bars and event catering.
