Sugar Creek Charter School

Our school houses K-11th grade. We offer our students a balanced academic program in our core curriculum with a strong emphasis on reading and math. Our school also offers students many “special” programs for enrichment and fulfillment such as Character Education, Computers, PE, Art and Music. Sugar Creek Charter students have many services available to them throughout the school day. These include: Exceptional Children (EC) services, full-time nursing care, and a part-time mental health professional.

Students and teachers at our school have been working very hard improving reading and math scores. Besides improving academics, our students and faculty continue to implement our “Code of Civility” focusing on character education. Our faculty and staff feel that educating students for responsible citizenship is part of our responsibility to children. Our school has begun a renewed focus on technology as an instructional tool. Teachers and students are offered more access to technology and to the Internet.
