Sugar Pine Retreat

The Sugar Pine Retreat is clean, comfy and an affordable cabin in the woods right between Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory. It's close to three lakes, skiing, restaurants and lots of hiking trails. And it's one of the few cabin with free firewood for the wood burning stove. I am often told by Airbnb-ers I should be charging more for this lovely cabin!

Full kitchen with everything you need
• dishes, wine glasses, glasses, pots, pans, utensils
• cooking oil, sugar, spices, filtered water, coffee filters
• full fridge, stove/oven, BBQ, toaster oven, blender, dishwasher

• high-speed wifi internet
• Netflix
• DVD player and some movies or bring your own
• telephone service
• lots of board games, poker chips, cards
• a few hammocks, bird seed for the feeders, binoculars for birding
• body wash and shampoo, dish soap, towels
• just bring your own food and beverage and you're set!

• One Queen bed in downstairs bedroom #1
• One Full bed with attached full bath in downstairs bedroom #2
• Two twin beds with attached full bath in upstairs bedroom #3
• All bedding (400 thread count cotton sheets) and clean towels provided.

The cabin isn't the Four Seasons. It has a few quirks but it is clean, very nice with comfortable beds and many amenities. There is a security camera on the outside of the cabin only.

Lake Arrowhead and its surrounding neighborhoods are great to explore. There are tons of trails and three giant lakes. I personally like Lake Gregory better. It is less crowded, has a wonderful trail all the way around the lake and kayaks, paddle boats, water park and beach. Great for kids. There are tons of hiking trails, fire lookout towers with great vistas, fine dining, a wildlife sanctuary and an observatory all within a 10 minute drive. Skiing is only 25 minutes away! I will provide a guidebook with my favorite spots to load on your phone.

During winter you will need chains. Four wheel drive recommended during snow storms. There are some steep hills in the area. There is a two car driveway but no street parking.
