Summer FamilyCare

Summer FamilyCare is something different from the current trend of corporate medicine. We are a small, independent private practice. Yes, we are Rebels in the World of Big Medicine, but not just to be different, to do a better job and treat people as people (whether they like it or not!). We want our patients to be comfortable and at ease, and that can really only be possible in a small familiar atmosphere. Good grief, we will actually answer the phone when you call! Yes, a live person who speaks Southern as a first language!!

Drs. Mike and Leigh Summer are originally from North Carolina, graduated from East Carolina Brody School of Medicine in 1995. Both served on active duty in the United States Navy as Medical Officers, in Pensacola, FL, the West Coast, Japan and the Western Pacific. After their Navy time, and a few years in Knoxville, they found their way back to North Carolina and have been serving Lewisville and the surrounding area since 2005.
