Summit Bible Church

Summit Bible Church was begun as Sunday School ministry outreach in the 1890s, and was later organized as a Congregational church in 1917.

In late 2004, the process of a merge between Summit Bible Church and Clearing Bible Church began and was completed in 2005.

After a period of challenging circumstances and decline, it was decided that the church needed outside assistance to rebuild its ministry.

In July 2009, MCE granted mission status to the church as part of its replant program. The church has been under the auspices of MCE since that time.

The church, in concert with MCE, has an active ministry to the Hispanic community. The church currently hosts several ministries targeting the spiritual needs of the Hispanic population, including a worship service conducted completely in Spanish.
