Captain Don Van Epp is a second generation charter boat captain. His father was one of the pioneering charter boat captains of the area dating back to the 1920’s. Captain Don started going out on the family charter boat at the tender age of 4 and caught his first sailfish at the age of 11.


Fishing is definitely in his blood and he is not happy with the day's catch unless the party is. Drawing on his vast fishing experience and knowledge assures the best possible catch for the day. The boat is named Vamos! II and is a fully equipped , air conditioned, 38 foot Pearson fly bridge sport fisherman powered by twin 375 HP diesel engines. She provides a very comfortable, soft, dry ride.
