Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Lonny Dale Carmichael grew up on a cotton farm in Arizona. He loved sciences and decided to go into that career direction at a very young age. Dr. Carmichael graduated with distinction from Mesa Community College. During his studies at the Arizona State University, he also attended the Barret Honors College. After graduating from The University of Colorado with a B.S. degree in Medical Sciences, he continued his education at the University's School of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S.Dr. Carmichael continued his education at the Virginia Commonwealth University. He participated in specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University's Pediatric Dental Residency Program. While there Dr. Carmichael was honored to serve as Chief Resident for more than half of his tenure as a resident. During that time he was able to participate in many learning experiences that blended medicine and dentistry.
