Sundance Bookstore and Music

Sundance Books and Music opened for business on December 8, 1985. Because of a wonderful community response, we were able to expand by fifty percent within the first five years. In response to our customers’ requests, we have built up unique collections of Nevada and local author titles. We have also added e-books, used books, and out of print searches to our services and are especially proud of adding a music department to our store in 2007. All of these can be ordered through our website or store location.

Sundance has reached out to our Northern Nevada community with festivals, author events, and arts performances throughout the years. We particularly enjoy our partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and the Washoe County Animal Services adoption program and have facilitated the donation of countless books to Washoe County School District libraries and students.

We deeply appreciate the support of our customers and community, which allows us to remain a vital part of Northern Nevada culture.
