Sunrise Academy

Sunrise Academy was inaugurated as the first full-time chartered Islamic school in central Ohio in 1996. The school is located in Hilliard, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. Sunrise Academy provides academic programs for students in Pre-K through 8th grade.

Sunrise Academy currently has 420 students enrolled for the 2011-2012 academic school year. Thirty (30) different countries are represented within the student population.

Our highly qualified and talented staff comes from a variety of rich cultural backgrounds. Their commitment to the Sunrise Academy mission gives them the role of active agents in the process of academic excellence. All our teachers are licensed or certified to teach in Ohio.
