Sunrise Sail

We have a day sailing club called FreeTime Sailing Fleet which is more of a "I want to go sailing for a day a couple of times a month" kind of club. You can reserve a sailing date online out two weeks in advance or make a reservation online within twenty-four hours, show up and go sailing. The other club we offer is Sunrise Sail, a fractional lease program, call it a time share if you want.(A fun share is more like it.) This all inclusive program gives you up to seven guaranteed sailing times a month (unlimited sailing on an as available basis) and it is for the sailor who wants a fully provisioned yacht to stay on as little as a couple of hours or up to seven days at one time. We provide everything you need, simply bring your food, drinks and linens and enjoy. I'm sure that we can help you fulfill your sailing dreams no matter which program you decide on.

We also have a Sailing Academy. We are proud of the fact that when students finish our lesson they know how to sail. How can we say that? We provide private lessons for the same price that the other schools teach multi-student classes. This means you and the instructor, one on one, at your pace, not the slowest student in the class. We have a flexible schedule and with our three instructors standing by you can generally name your own date to accommodate your schedule rather than ours.

Personally, I’ve been sailing for over 30 years. Starting on the lakes of Central Indiana to over 25 years here on Lake Lanier to chartering in the Caribbean, the San Juan Islands and BC. I love sailing, whether racing or cruising, time spent with family and friends enjoying the art and excitement of the sport. After all of these years, it’s funny how I still get that feeling of anticipation backing out of the slip and getting under way towards another opportunity to make forever memories.
