Pull out your cowboy hats and board shorts and get ready to saddle up as several top surfers and thousands of fans descend on Pierpont Beach in Ventura, Ca. this July 11 & 12, 2015 for a rip roaring good time!

The Surf Rodeo presents a two day Surf and Music Festival complete with a Surf Competition, 2 Music Stages, 2 Beer Gardens, our Bikini Cowgirl Contest and Cornhole Contest all on the sand. Food Court, Kids Corral, Skate Contest and more than 70 vendors line South Seaward Ave.

SURF RODEO MISSION
Surf Rodeo owner JD Drury, has watched as the world of surfing transformed into a competitive and serious atmosphere. He felt it was time to giddy up and ride the wave and have some old fashion fun. Community and camaraderie are at the core of the Surf Rodeo - we bring the fun and a little friendly competition to a day on the beach. We are less concerned about who wins the heat and more about the heart behind it.



The Surf Rodeo team strives to bring you a creative, interactive, relaxed event where fun always comes first! If our tasty vendor treats and our wild bucking mechanical bull on the beach don’t catch your eye, our nationally recognized musical lineup and quirky contest divisions are sure to lasso you in. From the crazy kids corral to the belly’s full of beer in our designated gardens, we’re confident there is something for each member of the family to enjoy.

But there is more to the core of the Surf Rodeo than a day on the beach. We reach out and support several wonderful non-profits. This year we are restoring an awesome 1963 VW Bug. Tickets are $20 and 100% of the proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Ventura. At the Rodeo watch how A Walk On Water surfs with children with special needs, Save the Mermaids will be teaching children how to care for our ocean, Ojai Valley Lions Club helps staff the beer gardens. Come see how the Surf Rodeo believes in Soul Profit and helping others. The Surf Rodeo spirit is something quite genuine and can only be captured first hand.
