Surry County Beekeepers

The Surry County Beekeepers Association (SCBA) was chartered in March 1981. The chapter was started by Z. Wayne Thompson, Bobby Lowe, George Ford, Cecil Gilly, and others.

The Surry County Beekeepers meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Surry County Cooperative Extension Office in Dobson, NC. Meetings are held 8 months of the year at the extension office. Two field days are held each year at a member's bee yard. We meet for a summer picnic in July or August and a holiday party in December. Check website for more information.
