Suruki Supermarket

We're a family-owned specialty supermarket focused on providing the highest quality Japanese food and beverage items from cooking supplies to ready-to-eat meals. We're friendly, serving new and existing customers, and have proudly been a part of the downtown San Mateo business community for many years.

We're known for our sushi-grade fish, ready-to-eat lunches, bento boxes, our evening specials (swing by 6pm on weekdays), and much more. We enjoy serving our community and establishing a relationship with our customers, the old fashioned way: with a smile, great service, and high quality products.

We're getting into social media to better serve our customers, listen to what they have to say, improve our business, and extend our relationships on the social networks that so many people use today. That said, we appreciate the in-person touch and understand there is no replacing real life experiences.

We also have a cozy restaurant upstairs that can be accessed through the doors to the left of the supermarket doors and up the stairs.
