The location is in the last true off-the-grid community in California. Electricity is provided by solar and or generator. Water is pristine pure well water originating from beautiful snow capped Mt. Shasta. The mountain also has seven glaciers including the state’s largest, Whitney Glacier. The roads are excellent, maintained and plowed in the winter as part of the community HOA. Located on 3,000 acres in the pristine Mt. Shasta Forest each lot is 2.5 acres. Some of the lots are tandem with two side by side properties that total 5 acres. There are almost 800 sites in this community. Only 20% have constructed homes on the site. All sites are privately owned and as with any community we see some great listings available. Elevation of most sites is at or near 4,000 feet elevation.
