Susan G. Komen Central Indiana

In the fight to end breast cancer forever, we are central Indiana’s locally led and empowered affiliate of Susan G. Komen®.

Komen's bold goal is to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 50 percent in the next decade.

75 percent of our net proceeds fund breast health outreach, services, treatment assistance, patient navigation and survivor support for Hoosiers in our 41-county service area. Since 1997, Komen Central Indiana has awarded over $20 million in community grants to local organizations that deliver breast health services.

The remaining 25 percent of our net proceeds goes to the Komen Research Grant Program to fund research seeking the causes, improved treatments and ultimately the cures for breast cancer.

Last year, Komen Central Indiana dollars provided more than 26,000 Hoosiers with life-saving breast health services and diagnosed 140 new cases of breast cancer, allowing them to seek the treatment needed.
