Susan Stein Shiva Theater

The Susan Stein Shiva Theater is Vassar College's very own student theater performance space. Run by Vassar students, exclusively for extracurricular student theatrical events, the Shiva is designed to give Vassar students the creative and real-world opportunities provided by any professional theater.

The space is used, nearly every weekend all year long, by the Philaletheis Society, Unbound, Happily Ever Laughter, The Woodshed Theatre Ensemble, Vassar College Sound System, Idlewild and other student organizations.

Theater, comedy shows, raves, workshops, dance performances, live concerts and cabarets are among the events that make up each Shiva season.
