Sushi Choo is a Kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant have two locations in Northern Houston.
Why call Sushi Choochoo? Because Sushi placed the conveyor belt moves like Choochoo train.
It is fan, unique, simple and fast! The items are placed onto color coded plates that come to you!
The best part of the entire restaurant is that they have a conveyor belt that runs a big loop from the kitchen out thru the dining room and back to the kitchen. As a customer, you grab yourself a seat along the conveyor belt and watch as different plates of sushi move by you.
All the plates are color coded that range from $1.50 a plate up to $4 a plate (based on the type of sushi). Yellow is the least expensive at $1.50. Edimame and simple rolls are on the yellow plates. The most expensive is the orange plate at $4.00. These are going to be the more complicated rolls that have tuna and salmon. When you are ready to check out, server will tally you up according to the color codes of plates. Sushi Choochoo has lots of varieties of sushi rolls, all your familiar ones like Dragon rolls, Caterpillar rolls, etc. Sashimi pieces such as tuna, smoked salmon, etc. If there's something you don't see "moving" you can order it.

Services are really good. The waiters and waitress took their time explaining how everything worked. The restaurant is very clean. There are regular tables and an outdoor patio.
