We are a new & used bookstore located in historic downtown Murphys, California. Tucked within the Sierra Nevada foothills in the thick of gold rush country, we're just a few hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, half way between Tahoe and Yosemite.

Owner Susan Shoaff handpicks the best of every genre, with the latest literary fiction and nonfiction on the shelves. We specialize in nature and sustainable living titles, gold rush history, childrens and spirituality of all sort.

We special order titles for customers at a 15% discount on paperbacks and 20% off on hardcovers. Book orders arrive twice weekly.

Our children's section is our favorite part of the store, where kids of all ages can find tantalizing tales and incredible artwork.

We have great goods for green living to make life cleaner and healthier for you and the planet.

Customers love our greeting cards for laugh therapy and wonderful variety. We carry journals and stationery supplies as well.
