Sweet Belgium is a family- owned and operated Belgian waffle bakery and catering business, proudly located in James Island, SC. Husband and wife duo, Sergio and Audrey Tosi, had a dream of moving their family from Belgium to beautiful Charleston, SC.

Sweet Belgium proudly uses only the finest ingredients and traditional methods to produce exceptional Belgian waffles, with an endless array of toppings to meet each customer's unique preferences.

The small bakery sits at 327 Folly Road just beside Roper Hospital, and serves mainly the Liege Waffle, for those who know a little bit about the range of waffles that Belgium has. The liege waffle is one of the most consumed and loved by Belgians. It is made with pearl sugar. They are thick and chewy on the inside and caramelized on the outside. Customers can either order to-go plain and/or frosted waffles. For those who would like to sit down and relax while watching their waffles to be baked, sweet belgium has a small seating area and serves also a range of delicious coffee....
