Sweet Land Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm located in beautiful Trumansburg NY. We grow on about 34 acres - roughly 2/3 of the farm is in fruits and vegetables, and about 1/3 in cover crops. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, plus strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, flowers, herbs, and eggs from our laying flock of hens (plus 1 rooster). We have a summer CSA that runs for 24 weeks from the beginning of June-the beginning of November, and a winter CSA that runs from November - the end of February.
We are a CSA-only farm, so everything that we grow is for the CSA members. We love you guys!! We focus on growing super healthy, vibrant food by putting lots of effort, brain power, and time into keeping our soils rich and well fed. Feed the soil, feed the crop, feed the people.
In addition to field production we also have 3 large passive solar greenhouses to extend the summer season, and provide greens to the winter CSA.
