Sweet Sixteen Farm -Pastured, Natural Pork and Goat

"Happy pigs make better pork!" Look for the happy pig (and goat) people at the Douglass Loop Farmers' Market on Bardstown Rd and Douglass Blvd, at the Douglass Blvd Christian Church, starting on March 23rd, 2013, 10am to 2pm.

Our goat meat (and soon our pork sausage) is also available at The Root Cellar (Old Louisville and Germantown), and our products are part of the CSA offered by A Place on Earth farm.

Cuts always available:

Pork
Loin Chops, Boston Butt, Shoulder Roast, Ribs (Country and Baby Back), Country Sausage (Hot or Mild, all natural, no MSG, no water, no nitrites), Ground Meat, Neck Bones (great for beans, soups or for your dogs! we give them to our dogs frozen in the summer and call them "Porksicles").

Goat
Leg Roast, Loin Chops, Ribs, Rib Roast, Shoulder Roast, Ground Meat, Stew Meat.

After April also Rabbit! (quartered roaster)

Pork
Uncured ("Green") Bacon, Uncured Jowl Bacon, Liver, Heart, Uncured ("Green") Ham.

Goat
Liver, Heart, Kidneys.


Our hogs and goats are processed at Harmon Brothers' Meats in Warsaw, KY. They are an Animal Welfare Approved butcher shop, USDA approved and always impeccable. We love the way they treat our animals -with respect and kindness- and the way they make our Country Sausage -a customers' favorite!
