Sweetbay Cabin

Sweetbay Cabin has the perfect combination of privacy, yet it is located within Sapphire Valley and offers guests full access to a fitness center, multiple indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi, tennis courts, golf courses, children's play ground, soccer fields, video game rooms, pool tables, putt-putt golf, and numerous other activities.

You will delight in the decor of Sweetbay Cabin with its rustic log cabin features, metal roof, soaring ceilings with beautiful interior beams, and soothing farmhouse inspired interior finishes. We decorated Sweetbay Cabin to be a relaxing stress-free escape and we are sure you will love it. The three bedroom, two bathroom cabin is furnished with two king-sized bedrooms and a third bedroom with two twin-sized beds. The master bedroom is on the main level and the two other bedrooms are on the lower level. The lower level also has a small bonus room with a comfortable day-bed, which could sleep one more person, or this room can be used as an alternative den area to lounge in as it is equipped with a 32-inch LED television. The main living area has a large 42 inch plasma television, DVD player, and a Sonos surround sound system. The master bedroom and second den are also equipped with their own 32-inch LED televisions. All TV's come with wireless cable. All bedrooms have brand new pillow-top mattresses and new luxurious linens with minimum 400 thread count sheets. These beds are heavenly to sleep on at night and also perfect for those mid-day naps!!

There is a great deck off the back of the house which overlooks the private woods and a small stream that runs along the back of the property. This deck is furnished with rocking chairs and a porch swing to enjoy that morning coffee, or cocktail in the afternoon, while relaxing in the cool mountain air. There is also a flagstone patio on the lower level of the cabin that has a five burner gas grill, rocking chairs, and a hammock.

Outside, there is a beautiful new fire pit with Adirondack chairs and an outdoor dining table. This setup is PERFECT to enjoy an evening beside the fire roasting marsh mellows, telling stories, or just simply relaxing. Just imagine, relaxing on a cool, brisk night, enjoying a nice dinner, with a roaring fire there to warm you....all underneath the stars!! PERFECT!!

The location of Sweetbay Cabin is ideal as you can easily access anywhere in the the Cashiers/Sapphire area. The village of Cashiers is a short 4 miles (10 minutes) away and is as quaint as they come. There are multiple opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts in the area, including hiking trails, parks, mountains, waterfalls, fishing, boating, lakes, rivers, bicycling, skiing (water and snow), and horseback riding, just to name a few. Cashiers is home to many exciting events throughout the year including the Leaf Festival, the Arts & Crafts Show on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, weekly Groovin’ on the Green events on Friday’s during the summers season, the Cashiers Designer Showhouse, The Annual Christmas Parade, and so much more.

Renters also have full access to beautiful Fairfield Lake and Bald Mountain which offer canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, or sunbathing at its beach area. There are also numerous spas, hiking trails, waterfalls, tennis courts, golf courses, and other activities just minutes from Sweetbay Cabin. Great hiking trails are close to the cabin too including Whiteside Mountain, with an easy 2-mile hike along a rock face with fabulous views, or a more challenging 10-mile round-trip hike takes you to the top of Yellow Mountain. There are also many waterfalls in the Cashiers/Sapphire area just a short drive from Sweetbay Cabin, including the newly opened and amazingly beautiful Gorges State Park.
