Sweetwater's Donut Mill

The Garner family opened Sweetwater's Donut Mill in 1983 on Stadium Drive with the idea of a rustic, hometown donut shop which made big, gooey donuts, good coffee and provided a relaxed atmosphere which would appeal to a broad range of people including students, retirees, professionals, etc. We later opened locations in Battle Creek (1986) and Sprinkle Road (1989) to offer more alternatives and convenience for those who lived east of downtown. We are open 24 hours a day and offer a drive-thru service at our Kalamazoo locations. We accept MasterCard and Visa at all of our locations.

Although we position ourselves primarily as a retail donut shop, we also serve many businesses and organizations with donuts through our corporate account program where clients can receive discounts on purchases by simply signing up for monthly billing. We work with schools, churches, business professionals (including sales representatives, executive secretaries, etc.) and athletic teams/leagues, some of whom resell the donuts. In addition, we offer a limited delivery service very early in the morning for those customers who would like donuts on a daily basis.

We have always put an emphasis on the family experience at our stores and understand that children, especially, enjoy spending time with parents at restaurants of all kinds. Donuts seem to be a particularly magical food item for kids and we have many varieties suited to their wants. Our restaurants are smoke free and the aroma of the baked goods during baking times can be irresistible. It has been our philosophy to use the highest quality ingredients available and give the customer more varieties and more of the things people love in donuts: frosting, toppings, and fillings.
