SWMetro CTE

SWMetro CTE offers classes in various Career and Technical areas. Students learn both knowledge and skills related to that field. Students who find their career interest early and take our CTE classes can earn industry certificates, college credit, and valuable experiences to help them start that career. Students who find that they don't like a chosen career field will be happy they made that choice while here at high school rather than in college - after paying to be in a program that they may find is not for them.

Classes are open to all member school districts, including Waconia, Shakopee, Belle Plaine, Chanhassen, Jordan, and Chaska. Classes are free, but some lab fees may be required. Check with your individual school about how to take our CTE classes if you are interested.
