Sylvan Ranch Community Garden

The Sylvan Ranch Community Garden is a group of civic-minded individuals dedicated to sustainable organic growing methods, garden learning opportunities and community spirit for all individuals including those with physical limitations.

We are teachers and retired folks, homeowners and apartment dwellers, young and old. We grew up on farms or we dreamed we did.

We are a community that loves a terrific tomato, a great green bean, and some awesome okra.

Our garden is a 1.85 acre site located at the corner of Sylvan Road and Stock Ranch Road in Citrus Heights.

We offer:
■4’x20’ individual plots for individuals, families or groups.
■4’x20’ raised beds for individuals or groups with mobility challenges.
■Common growing areas for fruit trees, culinary herbs, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, summer squash, pumpkins, and flowers.
