Synergique

Brand new to Sonoma County, Synergique was founded and created by long time Sonoma County dance instructor, Heather Brodie Visser in collaboration with Amanda Brown Barragán. Synergique is a vibrant space that seeks to approach dancers from the whole, providing a nurturing environment that emphasizes a strong individually tailored foundation while taking a fun and creative approach where artists can enjoy the freedom to be!

Heather and Amanda's relationship has evolved over almost two decades from teacher/student, when Amanda was an original member of Heather's On the Accent jazz company, to that of a dynamic duo of perfectly balanced dance teachers and incredible friends. They bring their shared love of dance coupled with the joy of fostering strong, healthy bodies to this new endeavor. Amanda brings a raw, contemporary modern style that encourages dancers to dig deep into their soul and bring an authenticity to their movement. Heather takes her technical classic jazz background and incorporates it into contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and jazz funk providing a variety that is exciting to all. Both are Pilates instructors, dedicated to applying the methods of Joseph Pilates to their dance instruction.
