Take Stock In Children Volusia

These are the faces of the lives we're changing, one student and one scholarship at a time! Financially eligible Volusia County School District students apply while in the eighth grade to become a TSIC scholar in Volusia County. A selection committee reviews & selects students from these applications. The number of scholars entering the program annually is based on donations and fundraising efforts by FUTURES. The scholarships must be purchased prior to induction of the new scholars each May. The need is great as typically 90-100 students apply while 12-15 are selected based on our scholarship funding resources.
You can assist TSIC Volusia by:
Becoming a volunteer mentor -- Meet 30 minutes each week on the high school campus during their lunch break.
Donating financial resources -- Cash, checks, credit cards and stocks/bonds are all welcome.
Funding an annual scholarship -- Commit to the partial or full purchase of a scholarship. Current pricing is $8,500 per student for a four year college tuition scholarship.
Planned Giving -- Include FUTURES/TSIC Volusia in your estate plan for a future gift!
