We are committed to provide SHELTER, HEALTHCARE, and RENEWAL to the Homeless in our community.
Emergency Shelter (Annually):
- Serve over 261,000 meals annually
- House more than 56,000 overnight stays
- Provide over 62,000 showers
- Over 81,000 Clothing items distributed per year.
Good Samaritan Medical/Dental Clinic:
- Over 5,000 medical visits per year
- More than over 400 dental visits per month
- Distribute over $1.7 million in FREE medication every year
Long-Term Renewal Program:
- The Renewal Program provides individual case management to all who are admitted into the program. Case Managers work closely with their clients to establish goals in the areas of health, education, legal, spirituality, finance, and family relations. The Renewal Program is an 18 to 24 month program for people who have made the commitment to transform and renew their lives. Participants in the program are required to attend Group Counseling classes twice a week. Other required classes are Budgeting, Time Management, Parenting, Overcoming Grief, and classes that deal with Life Skills.
Advancement Programs:
- GED coaching and training
- Facilitating transition into technical schools and colleges
- Assistance with in Job Placement
Job Skills Programs:
- Builds homes for needy citizens in partnership with Habitat for Humanity
- Builds Wheelchair ramps for disabled citizens
- Trains renewal program clients in culinary skills, and facilitates them in becoming a State of Florida certified Food Manager
Transitional Housing:
- Provides lodging for up to 10 transitional residents
Permanent Supportive Housing
- Fousing for 20 residents having disabilities, special, or other permanent needs
Eternal Rest Memorial Garden
- Serves as a last resting place for the ashes of homeless people who have no one to claim their remains
Day Time Safe Haven
- Offers a refuge for the homeless who would otherwise seek comfort and safety in commercial or remote areas
