Tamashakhaneh

DiCut (Tamashakhaneh's Northen California Branch) is an independent, not for profit organization that has formed as an attempt to create conversation between the U.S. and Middle East, particularly Iran. Most of our movies will be directed and produced by Iranian artists living inside Iran.
Our target audience is not limited to Iranian diaspora, even though we welcome and appreciate their support and participation in the screenings and talks.
As a 7 year ritual by Tamashakhaneh, we will hold a Q and A session and a panel discussion with the director and an external critique to add value and dimension to our understanding of the movie. Director's Cut will allow the director to connect to his/her audience of different background, ethnicity, and race, and propel the two towards better understanding of each other.
