Tapoco Lodge

Since 1930, countless visitors have created lifelong memories at Historic Tapoco Lodge. Situated on 120 acres in the lush mountain region of the Nantahala National Forest on the banks of the cascading Cheoah River, Tapoco is well known for its hiking, rafting, kayaking, fishing and mountain biking. Our proximity to the world famous Dragon, an 11-mile winding road, makes us a favorite destination for motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts.

With both upscale and riverside patio dining, spacious gathering areas and breathtaking views, the lodge itself is the ideal spot for family reunions, corporate retreats, wedding receptions and more.

We are located 15 miles north of Robbinsville, North Carolina and approximately 60 miles southeast of Knoxville, Tennessee.
