Lone Star Taps & Caps

Located just off the square, the heart of Denton, Taps & Caps opened their 2nd location this Winter. With the success of T&C as well as Lone Star Beverages over the past years, it made sense to open up in Denton. The cities’ longstanding and passionate culture surrounding The Arts, Music, and keeping the square full of only small businesses, we had to bring our concept out here. Finding a place to drink is easy around Denton, but finding a place to get all of your craft beer needs, including packaged beer, as well as 50 taps, with an unparalleled experience in one location, just became possible!

The shop, that’s located at the corner of Hickory and Carroll, is just off the square, but close enough that both the TWU and UNT campus’ can walk to the shop. Unlike any other growler shop, we have a one-of-a-kind walk up ordering window, on the front of the shop. This allows people to walk up, get a growler at light-speed and never having to step foot inside the shop, for those in a rush! Unlike many other locations, the square in Denton allows open containers, which makes it even easier to enjoy your favorite beers.
