Our core program is the collection and distribution of donated food to partner food pantries, or agencies, and social service centers such as shelters, after-school programs, soup kitchens and senior centers providing meals and/or snacks.
Additional programs we offer are;
1. Community Gardens, a program that offers support and education empowering communities to grow and provide fresh produce to low-income families.
2. Community Kitchen, our culinary job-training program for low-income adults.
3. Cooking Matters (Share Our Strength) provides nutrition education to individuals and families living on a tight budget.
4. Food for Kids, a program that provides several specialized child feeding initiatives including; Backpacks for Kids, Kids Café, School Pantries, Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Farmers Market Nutrition Program at WIC (FMNP).
5. Food Stamp Outreach/SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) offers help applying for national nutrition benefits and related health benefits.
6. Mobile Food Pantries increase the distribution of fresh and frozen food directly to clients
