Teaching Defense

Teaching Defense offers a full line of Basic, Advanced, and Tactical
firearms training for people who wish to be better equipped to defend
themselves and their loved ones; or simply wish to improve and refresh
their basic skills in marksmanship, weapons handling, and safety.

The instructors at Teaching Defense specialize in the introduction of
firearms, marksmanship, and concealed carry techniques and tactics to
females and young adults while also retaining the pre-requisite
knowledge and capabilities necessary to offer high levels of
instruction to shooters of all ages, genders, and skill levels.

Our instructors at Teaching Defense have a passion for teaching and
introducing new shooters into the world of marksmanship and modern
armed self defense tactics in order to better prepare them for real
world situations that they may find themselves in. Teaching Defense will teach the
skills necessary for you to defend yourself against criminals who prey
on the weak, unarmed, and defenseless.

Our idea to start Teaching Defense came about after visiting many of
the local ranges and seeing the deficiencies in many of the concealed
carry courses offered. We wanted to provide an in-depth, cost
effective, and high quality series of classes based off of our
knowledge and skills that will allow us to provide a friendly learning
environment for the student and ultimately help shape and guide new
shooters and old alike into responsible, safe, proficient, and
knowledgeable concealed carry permit holders.
