How We Evolved

In the summer of 2016, the Florida Track Club tested the feasibility of an official coaching program for FTC members. By mid-October, the coaching program was deemed a success as participants were ready to race the Tom Walker Half-Marathon and 5k.

As the first coaching program was ending, the Florida Track Club and Coach Enoch worked together to launch a new and independent organization to provide full-time coaching to runners, and in late October, Team Florida Track Club was born.

As a separate and independent organization, Team FTC focuses entirely on coaching runners. Team FTC provides Coach Enoch with the opportunity to focus his full-time effort on coaching his athletes.

Coach Enoch, a legendary runner for the University of Florida, offers customized training plans and one on one training sessions. Enoch's training programs are designed to offer runners the same level of training, proper nutrition, pacing strategies, specific pace ranges, core strength, and guidance typically reserved for professional athletes. TeamFTC welcomes runners of all ages and abilities.


Coach Enoch has run a 1:03:55 half marathon, 30:04 10K, 14:24 5K, and qualified for the 2016 Olympic Marathon Trials. Enoch continues to race often and can be seen fighting for the win with other local elite athletes.
