TEAM MAXT Strength Sports was created to provide athletes intense foundational strength in a healthy drug free
environment for competition in AAU strength sports. Through our methodology of Olympic lifting, Powerlifting,
Strongman training and MAS Wrestling, our athletes develop real-world applicable tools that they can parlay into
success in academics, professional and private sectors. TEAM MAXT creates a sub-culture peer pressure of doing good,
making right decisions and maintaining a standard of excellence. The positive ripple effects are far reaching and
positively impacting our local community and the communities where we compete.
Our ability to creatively provide quality sports and mind performance programs is in direct opposition to the sedentary
lifestyle that is being touted as our, “new normal”. By expanding nationwide we will educate and exhibit the far reaching
benefits of getting and staying physical. The beauty of TEAM MAXT is that it is one of the few sports that can be enjoyed
by every generation. Participants from ages 6 to 96 will experience being part of a team. We presently have Division
Teams consisting of: Youth, Juniors, Collegiate, Seniors and Masters. As such, we’re touching lives in every stage
of development. TEAM MAXT is a culture inside a culture. We are family.
Everyone desires to belong somewhere. It’s a latent need of us as human beings. Those that belong to TEAM MAXT
exhibit: self-confidence, perseverance, empowerment, camaraderie, mental toughness, good citizens and much more!
The AAU Strength team serves as a foundation to build excellence through consistency. Cultivating a Daily Routine by
blending a competitive drive force in Feats of Strength and Olympic lifting with traditional weight and powerlifting. Feats
of Strength are developed through Strongman training which include Farmer’s walk, Atlas Stone lifting, Log clean and
Press and Viking press, to name a few. The Olympic lifts: Power clean, Snatch, Clean and Press, Overhead Press, etc.
develop full body strength and speed. Our daily training regimen, compiled of Olympic lifts, Strongman training and
Powerlifting equip the athlete for various types of competition, in the gym and in life. Life is a battle. You should go to
war at full strength, MAXT (Maximum Athletic X-Training) is Real-World strength training.
