Teamsters Local 104

Teamsters Local 104 is a labor union that represent over 7,000 members throughout Arizona in many crafts such as UPS, US Airways, Grocery, Freight, Construction and Local “white paper” agreements. Our members grasp the importance of being a part of a labor organization and having a union in their work place. As our country's middle class is shrinking the importance of having a say in the terms and conditions of ones employment is paramount.

Arizona is a right to work state, which really translates to for many the right to work for less. The majority of non-union workers in AZ teeter just above minimum wage and healthcare is still nonexistent for many and their families. Unions in AZ and across our country are even more necessary for those trying to provide a decent living for their families. History tends to repeat itself and workers are starting to fight back.

As union members we inherit the legacy of the hard working men and women who fought to become unionized workers and it is through their efforts we reap the benefits of decent wages, medical, retirement, seniority, paid vacations and holidays, weekends, 40 hours and on the job safety to name just a few. It is all of our responsibility to protect that legacy and to fight for a better tomorrow for those who come after us.
