Teresa Atwood - Wealth Manager

Teresa is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BA in Communications. After graduation, she worked as a Business Consultant advising over 500 family-owned businesses. In 2010, she entered the financial services world offering personalized comprehensive retirement & estate planning services to high-net worth individuals and business owners.

As a Wealth Manager and LPL Financial Advisor, she focuses on retirement planning and often says that retirement planning means more than providing clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. She uses a consultative process which begins with an in-depth discussion of a client’s current finances and future objectives allowing her to address issues which might have been overlooked. This allows her to determine how to help clients adjust their investment strategy to accommodate changing conditions and meet any unforeseen expenses and income demands that may arise during retirement. She currently holds the Series 7 and 66 license with LPL Financial, plus the Life & Health Insurance licenses.

Teresa and her family reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoys playing tennis and golf, snow skiing, hiking, and traveling. Teresa is actively involved in her local community through many organizations to include the United Way, Women’s Leadership Council, Utah Women’s Forum, and the Natural History Museum of Utah. She is always willing to lend a hand and believes that by helping others it is the best way to thank those who have helped her throughout the years.
