Hi, I'm Teri Cole Smith. Like many, I came to Real Estate later in life – and after a world of diverse experiences. I was born in the Midwest, raised in Florida, attended graduate school at the University of Chicago and have lived from New York City to the backwoods of the Ozark Mountains. However, the WNC Mountains have captured my heart with their unique and special call. Our area is rich with history and I consider myself lucky to be surrounded not just by mountains but also festivals, museums, craft shops, artists and folk music. I love to hike local trails with my dog, Sadie. I have two wonderful “just-turned-adults” kids … so empty nest! My husband and I each have motorcycles and love riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. And while the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon always beckon, I am happiest riding the curvy back roads of Jackson County, alongside rivers, past farms and cabins and up into the mountain hollers (:
