The Texas Tech University Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities (CRC) invests in students and assists them to achieve academic success, to flourish in their recovery, and to succeed in a community of accountability and support.
We have worked diligently to design a Collegiate Recovery Community built upon important principles facilitating student growth and progress. These principles include: being Clean, Sober & Healthy, being Connected in Community, being Committed to Academics and being Civil in Relationships with others.
The CRC embraces abstinence based recovery and adheres to a Twelve Step model. We see ourselves as an important part of extending the continuum of care for people in recovery. We believe attending meetings, having a sponsor, engaging a recovery fellowship and service as crucial in maintaining long-term, quality recovery.
