The Academy of Urban Ministry

The Academy of Urban Ministry is a non-traditional college experience and training center. It’s not a college. It’s not an internship. It’s an intense discipleship program designed to capture the essential skills that are lost and untaught.

The biggest difference you’ll see in comparing The Academy with similar discipleship programs is our intensive missions focus. When you enroll at The Academy, you are choosing to “lose your life to find it” (as Jesus would say!). In essence, you become a missionary for nine months of your life.
