The Arlington Center is a lovely, spacious setting for in-depth yoga and meditation practice at all levels. The Center offers yoga in many styles including classical, Iyengar, vinyasa, Kripalu, Anusara, Yin, gentle, and yoga for children and seniors, as well as Buddhist insight meditation both in classes and non-residential retreats. The Center also offers a broad spectrum of wellness & healing including yogatherapy, zen shiatsu, Thai yoga bodywork, acupuncture, Reiki, therapeutic massage, nutritional and wellness counseling, Feldenkrais, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, life and relationship coaching, spiritual counseling, and homeopathy. The Center features a wide array of weekend workshops on yoga, meditation, psychology, wellness, dance, movement and relationship. It also produces the acclaimed monthly Dharma Film Series and kirtans with Shubalananda and Ashley. The Center hosts the annual Yoga Of Energy Flow 200 & 500 hour yoga teacher trainings with Daniel Orlansky, Liz Owen, Chip Hartranft, and an accomplished faculty. The work of the Center's founding director, Chip Hartranft, explores the common ground of yoga and Buddhism. Chip is the author of The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali: A New Translation with Commentary (Shambhala) and the forthcoming How the Buddha Taught Meditation: New Light from the Original Teachings.
