The Barn House at Stonewall Ranch

The Barn House at Stonewall Ranch is a cozy guest house located 17 miles from Redding, CA. As the name implies, the guest house is the oldest barn in Shasta County. Through the 1950s it was a working barn for the historic Hubbard Ranch in rural Igo. While it still looks like an old barn on the outside, the interior is a welcoming home filled with antiques and family heirlooms.

Featuring an open floor plan, the great room is comfortably furnished with rocking chairs and a futon couch that converts into a double bed. The dining alcove and the kitchen are both off the great room.

The kitchen is equipped with full-size appliances and enough pots, pans, utensils and serving pieces to make a real meal. The solid oak dining table seats six comfortably.

A few steps below the great room is the bedroom, which features a 19th century four-poster bed, dresser and armoire, as well as a contemporary wingback recliner.

The Barn House at Stonewall Ranch has massive decks that overlook the back meadow and a year round creek that runs the length of the property. The great room overlooks a rustic meadow with antique farm equipment and split-rail fence.

You're likely to see more wildlife passing than cars, as you relax in this private, beautiful setting.

The Barn House at Stonewall Ranch can accommodate up to four people and their well-behaved pets (extra fee for pets: $10/night/pet). Rates start at $110/night or $600/week.
