After graduating from the prestigious Antoine Du Chez Academy, in 2003. Jenessa began her career at Haircolorxperts- working at three locations in the metro area. After several years of perfecting her skills in hair and make-up, she took a two-year hiatus from the industry to do some soul searching while trying her hand in corporate America. However, she missed the personal relationships and bonds she formed with her clients, as well as the opportunity to transform people’s lives on a daily basis. Therefore, she decided to return to hair and beauty in September 2011—rejoining her family and home at Hair Rx, previously Haircolorxperts. Jenessa’s magnetic personality and sense of humor create a comfortable and welcoming environment for her clients; combined with her natural talent and dedication to her craft, her guests always love their experience and polished look. As a result, Jenessa held the title of Top Stylist at Hair Rx for two consecutive years, and was promoted to Artistic Director. Jenessa has received education from top tier educators in the industry from Wella, Davines, and Moroccanoil to Acquage—to name a few. She has also attended the Sanitas Academy, and received advanced certificates in numerous makeup applications. Outside of the salon, Jenessa is a dedicated mom to her two son’s Christopher, ten and Josiah, two.

And now she has started a journey of her own. She is now proud owner of The Beauty in You!
