The Bee's Knees

The Bee's Knees was established in 2002 This building was built in 1888 as Clauseen's Bakery. In the 1930's it became Maxwell's Furniture Store. It then became Bush's Florist In the 1950's until it closed in 1999. We always loved the location and facade of this building with the large windows and unique sideline layout opposed to other downtown shotgun style architecture. We decided in the summer of 2001 it would be exciting to have a late night place in downtown Augusta for interesting food and creative drinks. Since opening over 11 years ago, we have been grateful for all the support from locals and travelers to The Bee's Knees. We strive to serve the best in local food, craft brews, unique wines, and creative cocktails. Thanks for your patronage and support!
