Why am I opening a store?
1) My son and my daughter! I want to set a good example, I want them to look up to me, to be proud of me. To know they can have their biggest wildest dreams, actually come true, if they're willing to work for it.
2) Freedom & Balance. If you've ever worked retail you know this to be true, balance is something of a rarity.
3) For myself! This is something I have wanted since I was a child, it brings me sheer joy and until, just recently, I didn't realize my biggest obstacle was me, and my excuses. "I can't do that"...I have kids, I don't have support, I don't have enough money."it's funny how the exact reasons that were preventing me are the ones that are driving & motivating me to do this now.
I guess I had a wake up call...
4) To pull pranks on people... because it's a real smile, a smile that reaches their eyes, a smile of innocence.
5)To support other loco dreamers! The ones that are crazy enough to actually chase it. I can't wait to help others, I get to promote them, possibly help them sell their items (there dreams), and get to feel connected to people because of it. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you're helping someone with their dreams.

I cannot wait to start this new adventure! I feel like I can't fail. Even if I lose the store, I will know that I tried, and I will learn something.

So as much as I want to help everybody else.... as much as I want to help myself... as much as I want to inspire my family, I guess now, I ask that you please think of me, no, think of us, and come by and check out my store...because when you buy from me, you're not just supporting me, "we all will supporting someone's, family, well-being, art, music, and writing!!!" We will be supporting, making things beautiful again (refurbishing). We will be supporting our inner child, we will be supporting making people happy... if only for a moment. But, isn't that all life is, just series of moments?
So don't be afraid to dream, don't be afraid to dream too big! Support your locol dreamers!
