The Blue Water SSI

The building which "The Blue Water" now occupies was home of the St. Simons State Bank, the very first bank on the Island. In 1971, it became "The Binnacle", a hangout for the Island's locals. In 1991, it opened as "The Blue Water". The restaurant was closed all of 2006 to add the upstairs dining room, patio, and bar. It reopened in 2007 with great fanfare and the best ocean view of any restaurant on the Island!
