The Book Store & The Handmade Marketplace

The Book Store's mission is to inspire people to read! What we gain from reading a book is invaluable. We are going to make reading fun, inspirational and accessible to everyone. In addition, we are supporting local gifted artisans through The Handmade Marketplace. While you are enjoying a good book you can browse and shop over 100 local original handmade products!

We are dedicated to giving back in order to promote literacy throughout Medina County and Northeast Ohio. We will feature:

- Literacy Outreach Programs

- Educator and student discount programs

- Essay/Poetry contests

- Educator programs

- Free books to classrooms

... just to name a few of our programs!

1 in 4 children grow up in America never learning to read or write. Over 70% of these children will either end up on welfare or in jail. This issue affects more than just reading and writing. Meaning, low literacy rates also cost the health care industry over $70 million dollars a year. We can no longer ignore this issue.
