More about The Boys' Club of New York - Department of Educational Services

Established in 1957, the ISP program is the nation’s oldest independent school placement program. Since its inception, the program has successfully graduated over 1,600 boys. Each year, BCNY enrolls and supports over 200 of its members in independent day and boarding schools throughout the country. The program monitors student progress and conducts school visits, offers workshops and seminars for all participants and their families throughout the academic year. Close contact is maintained with school officials and parents to insure that each student’s academic, social, and athletic needs are being met. Tuition costs are absorbed through school-based financial aid, family contributions and other scholarship programs. Over the past 51 years, the retention rate of the participants has been over 90%. The college placement rate of its graduates stands at 100%.
