The Brielle at Seaview

The Brielle is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and maintains licensure as a New York State Assisted Living Residence (ALR). As a newly constructed facility on Staten Island, we have made affordable assisted living a reality. The facility fills an identified need for quality housing for seniors who can no longer live alone without assistance, but who do not need continual skilled nursing care. As a participant in the New York State ALR program, The Brielle offers a complete range of services that allow residents to “age in place”. The residence is staffed by individuals who are dedicated to serving seniors and supervised by experienced administrators and professional nurses. Assisted living services are provided in consultation with your primary physician.
The Brielle is centrally located in Staten Island’s Willowbrook neighborhood on the new Seaview Senior Living campus. This new senior housing campus consists not only of The Brielle but also a new 10,000 square foot recreational facility called The Commons, as well as 126 independent living units yet to be constructed. Residents of The Brielle will have access to The Commons, which contains public meeting rooms, an exercise gym, swimming pool and theatre.
This new three-story ALR accommodates 188 seniors in private studios and two-bedroom suite residences. qThe approximately 100,000+ square-foot building incorporates common/support space for activities including: country kitchen, library, beauty parlor/barber shop, card/game room, general store, dining room, and parlor. There are lounge areas and laundry facilities on resident floors, and outdoor recreational and courtyard areas. Residential units feature bathrooms with grab bars in walk-in showers, wall-to-wall carpeting, individually controlled heating and air conditioning and kitchenettes. The entire facility, including residential units and common areas, is equipped with 24- hour, monitored emergency and fire alarm systems as well as a fire sprinkler system. Additional security is provided with exterior monitored closed-circuit cameras, and all stairwell and exterior doors are alarmed. Residential units have a call system that will provide communication to a centrally monitored attendant, in the reception area, 24-hours per day. Exterior walking and exercise paths are located throughout the grounds, as are areas for gardening, and seating areas to encourage outdoor activity.
